Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28th, 1967 from Atlanta and married to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts belongs to four generations of the Robertses to reside in the Atlanta area, starting from her maternal grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was a young man when he began to take an interest in theater. He was an actor on stage on the Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force. He was stationed in Biloxi the Mississippi coast, he was a part of the production of Betty Lou Bredemus. The two married in 1955. Their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was an undergraduate at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple were discharged from the air force and Walter began studying at Tulane University. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved from the city of Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies the show they had funded. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which lasted six years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley along with Julia Billingsley.
