Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 Aviano Italy), American actress. Her fame is as a naive character who are charming and likable. Adams was one of seven siblings that grew up as a child in the city of Castle Rock, Colorado. She was born while her father worked in the U.S. Military in Italy. The early 1990s were when Adams started dancing and performing professionally at the Boulder Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she worked in a regional theatre where she played a role in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a comedy documentary that focused on pages of beauty. When she made her screen debut as a charming but snarky contestant, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Her husband was the actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 to September 1962 and her mother to Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. The actor Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and started her film career in the 1940s. She starred in a number of films that became popular over the decade that followed, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from the year 1960) and Living It Up (1954), starring Martin Lewis.
