Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to receive a score of a perfect of 10 in an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi is the Romanian gymnastics instructor, who was later Comaneci's coach who first came across Comaneci when she was just six years old. Comaneci competed for the first time in the national junior championships and finished 13th. In the following year, she became champion. She won three golds in her first competition in a junior pre-Olympic meeting in 1972 for communist countries. Between 1973 and 1974, she was the junior all-round champion. In her very first competition at the senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva from Russia took home five gold medals aswell with one silver. She was the winner of the American Cup in New York City in 1976, becoming the first woman to perform a reverse double salto, which is a dismount from the uneven bars parallel to each other. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career in the world of entertainment began in her teens when she began performing as a figure skater alongside her younger sibling Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th of September, 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol started her entertainment career in her teens. In her early years Carol was an ice figure skater for traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. These shows included ice skating performances that were performed to music from the stage.
